Stacey Fox was inspired to start her own business by her mother, who sold bras out of a suitcase until opening a store in 1966. Stacey grew up learning to properly fit bras and undergarments—in fact, she was practically born into the business! She opened Stacey’s in 1992 to provide not only great bras but also high-quality formalwear in a warm, friendly boutique setting.
Her store has been a community fixture in the many years since, expanding and moving to its current location in 2010. It holds the distinction of being the longest locally owned and operated bridal and formalwear store in Iowa.
Stacey’s is very active in the Davenport and Des Moines-area communities, volunteering time and providing donations, goods, and services to charitable organizations and events like Bras for the Cause, Race for the Cure Iowa, and Tim Tebow’s Night to Shine.
Stacey still works actively with her team of expert bra fitters, stylists, and seamstresses to help personalize and perfect every customer’s experience.
